Jiang Hu Packets

Recommended Posts

Hello :D

Can anybody share Jiang Hu packet structures? I've been trying to grab them from a Trinity Source, but that thing is so bad developed that makes it so hard to guess if what I'm doing is right or not.

  • 2700 - MsgOwnKongfuBase
  • 2701 - MsgOwnKongfuImproveSummaryInfo
  • 2702 - MsgOwnKongfuImproveFeedback
  • 2703 - MsgOwnKongRank
  • 2704 - MsgOwnKongfuPKSetting

And this one from Chi if possible, because this one I couldn't find anywhere.

  • 2535 - MsgTrainingVitalityScore

I'm using version 5808 and I don't know if the packet has changed over versions, but even if it's changed It's okay, I can guess offsets after I know +- what to do. I'll make my contribution to the wiki soon.

The way I reverse engineer packets is using Hopper on Linux, and I analyze the mac client conquer executable since it isn't stripped of its debugging labels. You should give it a try if you're interested in reverse engineering packets. There's a helpful view that attempts to structure the assembly as if it were a C-syntax language as well.

I cant see the names... everything has sub_* or random names

Oh, forget it. I see now the reason you use the Mac executable, I just need to find patch 1270 for Mac

I'll check when I get home. Yeah, you need the Mac client. After opening the executable file from Conquer.app, it should start to automatically disassemble and analyze it. I can create a tutorial tonight, I think I'll have time.
